General information only

Procedures are general guidance for typical home Windows PCs. Software changes often, and your computer may differ from the one described. We check and date every procedure, but we cannot promise that every step will match your screen or solve your problem. You follow any procedure at your own discretion and risk. Back up important files before changing system settings, and stop if something does not look as described.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional security advice. If you have lost money to a scam or believe your identity has been stolen, contact your bank and the appropriate authorities in your country.

Product information

Our explanations of plans and features are based on information the companies publish. Plan names, features and prices change, and may vary by country. Check the company’s own website for current details before you buy or renew anything. We do not receive commission from any product we mention.
